Bansko - MUST READ for digital nomads

Bansko - MUST READ for digital nomads

Why would you go there? There are mountains in Bulgaria?  These are the kind of questions our friends and family would ask us before we actually got to Bulgaria. It seems that to a lot of people that travel to Bulgaria are either adventurers discovering off-the beaten-path destinations, digital nomads or travelers that do the Schengen Visa run. No matter why they are coming in the first place most of them leave Bulgaria with amazing feedback. And to be honest, there is no reason to not love it! It is relatively cheap place to travel to, people are extremely hospitable and it has a lot of fun activities to offer. In addition I know plenty of travel bloggers who’ve been here, it still seems like an undiscovered travel spot for most. All in all adventure & fund for little money.

Unfortunately we only stayed for 2 days and then head off to Bansko, our home for the next 6 weeks. Is Amsterdam overrun by tourists?

Is Amsterdam overrun by tourists? Amsterdam is one of the most visited cities in Europe these days and has gotten so popular over the years, that it is hard to find spots that are not overrun by tourists. Most tourists are so fascinated by the city centre with its little canals, museums and coffee shops that they don’t actually wander out to the hip neighbourhoods and mingle with the locals. And now that europe's high-speed railway service, Eurostar, has announced that a direct train from London to Amsterdam starts running next year in April, it isn’t going to get any less crowded in the coming years. Dave and I stayed a good week in Amsterdam, and being our third visit we decided on staying in AirBnBs, chatted to the local coffee shop owners and ventured out to the neighbourhoods of Amsterdam. This guide summarizes the 5 hippest neighbourhoods either discovered by us or recommended by residents.

AND you will need a big smile on your face to get through to the heart of the northern germans. Schleswig-Holstein is an incredibly beautiful part of the world with a lot of really cool history and amazing beaches. YES beaches! Most people think of Lederhosen, Oktoberfest, Berlin or Soccer when they think of Germany, but guys I tell you the north is completely different. The northern germans might seem a little distanced and cold when you first meet them, but once you’ve build a friendship to someone, they will be your friend forever. With this blog post I want to share my top 10 best places to go to in northern Germany, things that you probably didn’t think of when you thought of Germany.
